Description
Do you have a piece of clothing that needs repairing? Does it have a stain that just won’t come off? Have the moths got into your jumper drawer? Do you want to decorate your clothes with fabric & embroidery?
In this hand sewing class, you will bring along a piece of clothing that needs some love, and Mattie will help you to design and begin your mend or embellishment, using lots of inspiring samples and books, you will work together to find the right mend for your piece.
This class will be different every time, as it is participant led, so new skills and ideas will be worked on, discussed and developed each time. All materials are included, though you are welcome to bring anything you’d like to use, please bring your own piece of clothing to work on.
Our classes are held in our small workshop space at the back of the shop.
We will have no more than 5 customers per class.
If you cannot make the class once you have booked, we will do everything we can to move you to another class but this may not always be possible. If you cancel with less than 48 hours notice, we will not be able to offer any exchange unless we manage to fill the space. We will treat you with respect in this situation, and expect to be treated with respect in return.
