Beginners Appliqué: Design, Cut, Stitch, Repeat.
In this beginners friendly 3 hour appliqué workshop, you’ll learn how to turn fabric scraps into bold designs, custom patches, and one of a kind creations. Appliqué is all about laying fabric shapes on to a base and stitching them in place – think graphic tees, tote bags, or statement cushions with serious personality. Please bring a piece to work on, we find that denim is a great call!
We’ll cover the basics: choosing fabrics that work, using fusible web for easy placement, and mastering simple but striking stitch techniques on your (or our) sewing machine. No experience with appliqué? No problem. This session is about experimenting, building confidence, and having fun with fabric.

Our classes are held in our small workshop space at the back of the shop. We will have no more than 4 customers per class.
If you cannot make the class once you have booked, we will do everything we can to move you to another class but this may not always be possible. If you cancel with less than 48 hours notice, we will not be able to offer any exchange unless we manage to fill the space. We will treat you with respect in this situation, and expect to be treated with respect in return.
