Our Corozo (Tagua) Button range is made from a very interesting material. Vegetable Ivory or Tagua Nut (called Corozo when used to make buttons) is eco-friendly and sustainable. The nuts are harvested when they fall to the floor. Which means they can be collected without harming the tree which in turn protects the rainforest and its animals. Dying the nut bring out the natural pattern within the material.
We are thrilled to be stocking these beautiful, smooth, hard wearing and machine washable 2 hole buttons in 4 sizes (22,20,15 & 10mm) and lots of colours.
